Domino's Local Harvest Foundation

A program designed to provide long-term support
to Japanese food producers

As a company that deals in food products, Domino's Pizza Japan wants to support today's food producers in Japan -
as well as tomorrow's. That's why we established Domino's Local Harvest Foundation in April 2022.

The foundation's goal is to assist organizations that deal directly with social and environmental issues that
affect today's food producers so they can provide these producers with stability.

Like other primary industries in Japan, agriculture is experiencing a number of serious problems, such as a smaller, aging workforce and the increasing abandonment of arable land.

However, the future outlook is bright, thanks to several recent developments, such as programs designed to nurture young farmers and technologies for ensuring the safety and quality of crops. These efforts are expected to buttress Japan's food production in the coming years.

In 2022, the foundation will focus on supporting food production activities as well as local initiatives that tackle long-term issues related to Japan's agriculture.
